Abstract:
This centrifugal compressor is provided with a housing accommodating an impeller, a diffuser flow passage formed on the radially outer side of the housing with respect to the impeller, and a scroll flow passage which is formed in the housing and which communicates with the diffuser flow passage from the radially outer side, wherein: the scroll flow passage extends in the direction of the axis of rotation and in the direction of rotation of the impeller relative to the diffuser flow passage; the scroll flow passage includes an inner radial end positioned furthest toward the inside in the radial direction; and the inner radial end is spaced apart from the diffuser flow passage relative to the midpoint of the maximum flow passage width of the scroll flow passage in the direction of the axis of rotation.
