Abstract:
This centrifugal compressor is provided with an impeller, a plurality of diffuser vanes arranged in a circumferential direction radially outside the impeller, and a housing including a scroll section which forms a scroll flow passage located radially outside the plurality of diffuser vanes. The plurality of diffuser vanes include, in the circumferential direction: at least one first diffuser vane which is at least partially located in the angular range between the tongue section of the scroll section and the winding end of the scroll section; and a second diffuser vane located outside the angular range. A vane outlet angle which is formed by the line tangential to the rear edge of the pressure surface of each of the plurality of diffuser vanes with respect to a radial direction satisfies the relationship of β1 <β2, where β1 is the vane outlet angle of the first diffuser vane, and β2 is the vane outlet angle of the second diffuser vane.
