Abstract:
Provided is a centrifugal compressor having a large capacity achieved with the diameter of the impeller reduced to minimum.
This centrifugal compressor is provided with a drive gear (11), a drive shaft (3) which extends from the drive gear (11) to one side in the direction of the center axis, a first driven gear (12) to which the rotation of the drive gear (11) is transmitted, a first driven shaft (5) extending to both sides of the first driven gear (12) in the direction of the center axis, and two first-stage compression sections (7a, 7b) which are provided at both sides of the first driven shaft (5) in the direction of the center axis and which compress fluid when the first driven shaft (5) is rotated.
