Title:
CENTRIFUGAL FAN, AND ROTATING ELECTRICAL MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/255331
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Centrifugal fans having a conventional structure have a problem in that wind noise increases as the rotational speed increases, increasing a feeling of discomfort. In particular, in rotating electrical machines it has hitherto been difficult to reduce noise values in a high rotational speed range only. In order to resolve such problems, in a centrifugal fan (1) provided with a main plate (2) having a center of rotation (O), and a plurality of blades (4) extending from the main plate (2) in the direction of an axis of rotation passing through the center of rotation: the length direction of the blades (4) extends from an inner circumferential side of the main plate to an outer circumferential side thereof; a first part (A portion) extending from the inner circumferential side of at least one blade (4) toward the outer circumferential side thereof is formed with a concave shape with respect to the direction of rotation; a second part (B portion) extending from the first part (A portion) toward the outer circumferential side is formed with a convex shape with respect to the direction of rotation; and the first part (A portion) is formed such that the radius of curvature decreases toward the outer circumferential side.
