Abstract:
A centrifugal fan and a terminal, the centrifugal fan being applied in the terminal; when configured, the centrifugal fan comprises a housing (10), which is used to contain an impeller (20) that rotates relative to the housing (10); the housing (10) is internally provided with a flow channel (30) which cooperates with the impeller (20); the flow channel (30) contains a pressurization area (32), and the static pressure and flow speed of air flow gradually increase in the pressurization area (32) along the direction of the rotation of the impeller (20); however, since the housing (10) is provided thereon with an air inlet (50) and a certain gap is provided between the impeller (20) and the air inlet (50), and since a certain amount of leakage is present in the gap when air flows through the pressurization area (32), an air-blocking ring (40) is provided in the centrifugal fan; the air-blocking ring (40) is provided surrounding only part of the air inlet (50) so as to block the air inside of the pressurization area (32) from leaking out, and so as to well isolate the air flow in the pressurization area (32) and at the air inlet (50), thus increasing a pressurization effect, reducing the loss from mixing air intake air flow and the air flow at the pressurization area in a volute, and increasing the amount of air as well as reducing the noise of the fan.
