Abstract:
Provided is a technique for reducing a false positive rate and a false negative rate in a microbial test. A centrifugal filtration cartridge according to the present disclosure is provided with: a filter cup which is equipped with a filter for trapping a microorganism and a nozzle through which a liquid passed through the filter is discharged; and a contamination prevention box which is configured so as to be able to be connected to the filter cup and includes therein a measurement container in which the liquid discharged through the nozzle can be stored. The centrifugal filtration cartridge is characterized in that the contamination prevention box has a partitioning wall arranged between the filter cup and an opening surface of the measurement container, the partitioning wall has an opening through which the nozzle can pass, the nozzle is configured such that, when the contamination prevention box is connected to the filter cup, the tip of the nozzle is positioned below the lower end of the opening, and the nozzle has such a length that the nozzle can enter the inside of the measurement container.
