Abstract:
Provided are: a centrifugal mold wherein, even if burrs are formed on an outer peripheral edge of an end surface of a hollow cylindrical body, there is high bonding strength between the burrs and the hollow cylindrical body such that when the hollow cylindrical body is demolded, the burrs are taken out together with the hollow cylindrical body from the centrifugal mold; and a method for manufacturing a hollow cylindrical body. An inner surface of a lid 12A of a centrifugal mold 10A is provided with a conical inner lid 42A. An outer peripheral edge 42e of the inner lid 42A is separated from an inner peripheral surface 31 of a mold body 11 by a predetermined distance L. An end surface 2a of a molded cylindrical body 2 is formed from: a first end surface 2d comprising a tapered surface; and a second end surface 2e substantially perpendicular to the axial direction.
