Abstract:
The invention relates to a centrifugal pump, in particular a maritime cooling water pump for sea water, having a spiral casing (1) and an impeller (8) arranged rotatably in the spiral casing (1). According to the invention, it is provided that the spiral casing (1) is coated with a corrosion-resistant polymer-ceramic coating (7) in a region of contact with water and the impeller (8) is formed from a non-metallic material.
