Abstract:

The present invention addresses the problem of providing a centrifugal smearing device and sealed rotating container in which liquid components do not leak to the outside of the sealed rotating container. To solve this problem, in a centrifugal smearing device (30) provided with a sealed rotating container (34) accommodating a chamber (10) that contains a liquid sample and is capable of attaching to and detaching from slide glass so as to smear the cells in the liquid sample onto the slide glass through centrifugal force and with a base (31) that accommodates the sealed rotating container (34) and has a rotation driving means (32) for rotating the sealed rotating container (34), the sealed rotating container (34) is provided with a main body (40) capable of accommodating the chamber (10) and a lid (42) for closing an upper surface opening of the main body (40), the outer peripheral edge of the lid (42) is provided with a seal (100) that seals the space between the main body (40) and the edge of the upper surface opening, and a scattering protection wall (120) is formed to the inside of the seal (100) so as to protrude downward and cover the seal (100) from the inside so that liquid is not scattered to the seal (100).
