Abstract:
An adapter (1) for use with a centrifuge. Features of the adapter (1) allow for less friction during extraction of the adapter and separation efficiency by preventing disturbances to the separated materials. In addition, the adapter (1) includes features that support the walls (10, 12) of a sample container (2) and prevent force from damaging the sample container (2) during a centrifuge separation procedure.
