Abstract:
A centroid detection device (100) is provided with an oscillation detector (14) for detecting pitching in the dead weight direction during the traveling of a traveling body, and rolling in the widthwise direction during the traveling, and a computing unit (15). The computing unit (15) computes the frequency of the pitching in the dead weight direction of the traveling body, the frequency of the rolling in the widthwise direction thereof, the angle of the center of the rolling in the widthwise direction thereof, and the centroid position in the dead weight direction on a cross-sectional surface perpendicular to the traveling direction of the traveling body, and the centroid position in the widthwise direction using a width dimension. Also, the computing unit (15) computes the frequency of the pitching in the dead weight direction of the traveling body, the frequency of the rolling in the traveling direction thereof, the centroid position in the dead weight direction thereof, and the centroid position about the traveling direction of the traveling body using the length of the traveling direction thereof.
