Abstract:
Novel cephem compounds of general formula (I), wherein R1 represents and optionally amino group, R2 represents H or halogen, R3 represents H or an optionally substituted hydrocarbon residue, R4 represents H or methoxy, A represents an optionally substituted imidazol-l-yl group forming a fuzed ring at positions 2 and 3 or 3 and 4, and n represents 0 or 1. They have an excellent antibacterial activity.
