Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to be able to treat a high temperature fluid such as automobile exhaust gas with reduced effect of temperature distribution in a direction in which the fluid flows. This ceramic component includes: a base that is composed of a ceramic material; a plurality of first flow paths which are provided on the base and through which a fluid passes from one side to the other side of the base; and a reaction involving member which is provided on the inner surface of each first flow path. The ceramic component is characterized in that the first flow path has a flow path resistance that increases from upstream to downstream in the direction in which the fluid passes.
