Abstract:
A ceramic electrodeless plasma light source includes a microwave resonant cavity (1) and a ceramic arc tube (2). The ceramic arc tube (2) consists of transparent materials or photic materials. The ceramic arc tube (2) includes a plasma cavity (21) that is filled with a luminescent substance and a connection tube (22) that is positioned on one end of the plasma cavity (21). A ceramic plug (23) is plugged into the connection tube (22). The ceramic plug (23) is hermetically sealed with the connection tube (22) by a solder (24). A through-hole is opened in the microwave resonant cavity (1), and the ceramic arc tube (2) is positioned in the through-hole. The microwave resonant cavity (1) is also connected with a microwave input source (3).
