Abstract:
A ceramic electronic component according to the present invention comprises a ceramic body, and a plated electrode provided on a part of the surface of the ceramic body. When a region of the surface of the ceramic body from an edge portion of the plated electrode to 20 µm toward the plated electrode side is an electrode edge portion region, a plurality of pores of which the ratio of length/diameter is 10 or greater is formed on the surface of the ceramic body situated in at least the electrode edge portion region, and the plated electrode has protrusions entering into the pores.
