Abstract:
Disclosed is a ceramic heater provided with ceramic bases (1a,1b) comprising ceramic, and a heating unit (2) provided within the ceramic bases (1a,1b) and with at least a resistive heating element embedded within, the ceramic heater being characterized by the ceramic containing 88-96 mass % of AL2O3, 3-10 mass % of SiO2, 1-2 mass % of CaO, and 0.01-0.5 mass % of a Mg oxide, and the mass ratio of the aforementioned SiO2 to CaO being at least 1.5 and less than 3.5.
