Abstract:
Provided is a ceramic separator which can have the air permeability required of separators and which is reduced in the shrinkage caused by exposure to a high temperature.
The ceramic separator comprises an inorganic filler and an organic ingredient, wherein the inorganic filler is contained in an amount in the range of 55-80% in terms of pigment volume concentration, and the inorganic filler has a particle size distribution which has an average particle diameter of 1-5 µm and a slope, determined through approximation with a Rosin-Rammler distribution, of 1.2 or more.
