Abstract:
Disclosed are a certificate update method and a related device. The certificate update method comprises: when a terminal device of the Internet of Vehicles cannot locally query a first verification certificate in the terminal device of the Internet of Vehicles, the terminal device of the Internet of Vehicles sending a verification certificate query request to a network device of the Internet of Vehicles to query the first verification certificate; then, the network device of the Internet of Vehicles querying the first verification certificate according to the verification certificate query request; when the network device of the Internet of Vehicles determines that the first verification certificate exists, the network device of the Internet of Vehicles sending a certificate update notification to the terminal device of the Internet of Vehicles; and then, after the network device of the Internet of Vehicles receives a certificate update request sent by the terminal device of the Internet of Vehicles, the network device of the Internet of Vehicles sending a target verification certificate to the terminal device of the Internet of Vehicles. Therefore, the timely updating of a certificate can be guaranteed between a terminal device of the Internet of Vehicles and a network device of the Internet of Vehicles.
