Abstract:
Provided are: a cesium-excreting agent and a poisonous metal-excreting agent which can suppress the absorption of cesium or a poisonous metal into the body or can promote the excretion of cesium or a poisonous metal out of the body; and a food or beverage, a feed and a medicinal product. A cesium-excreting agent and a poisonous metal-excreting agent, each of which comprises calcium alginate as an active ingredient; and a food or beverage, a feed and a medicinal product, each of which contains the cesium-excreting agent or the poisonous metal-excreting agent.
