Abstract:
Provided is a cesium recovery member with which contaminated water containing radioactive cesium can be absorbed and the radioactive cesium can be selectively recovered from the absorbed contaminated water. This cesium recovery member includes a packaging member formed from a non-woven textile and a highly-water-absorbent polymer powder accommodated in the packaging member, the non-woven textile containing at least one compound selected from the group consisting of ferrocyanides and ferricyanides.
