Abstract:
In the present invention, a plurality of shaft engagement sections (25) are provided disposed in an arc to a facing pair of lateral plate sections (22) of a guide base (21) that is disposed facing one side of a timing chain (5) for torque transmission, and the shaft ends of roller shafts (31) are supported by each of the shaft engagement sections (25). A plurality of rollers (41) for chain guidance are supported rotatably by each of the plurality of roller shafts. A non-cylindrical surface engagement section (50) is provided between the shaft ends of the roller shafts (31) and the closed ends of the shaft engagement sections (25), fitting around the roller shafts (31), and the rotation of the roller shafts (31) by means of drag torque from the rollers (41) is prevented.
