The present invention relates to the field of transportation. A chair armrest height adjustment mechanism and a chair. The chair armrest height adjustment mechanism comprises a rotation shaft (1), and a rotation adjustment member provided on the rotation shaft (1), wherein the rotation adjustment member comprises a ratchet mechanism. The adjustment mechanism is simple, and capable of adjusting the height of an armrest.
