Abstract:
A chair for easy-sitting and easy-rising motions according to the present invention comprises: a seat plate (2); a base (3) located at a lower side of the seat plate (2) to thereby contact the ground and support the structure of the chair; an extensible support unit (600) having an upper end pivotably fixed to a rear portion of the seat plate (2), and a lower end pivotably fixed to a front portion of the base (3); a second support rod (12) having an upper end pivotably fixed to a front portion of the seat plate (2), and a lower end pivotably fixed to a rear portion of the base (3); and a guide rod (13) for guiding the extensible support unit (600) and the second support rod along pivot paths. The present invention is advantageous in that, when the weight load of a user is exerted on the seat plate, the seat plate varies in its angle and gradually falls, to thereby assist the user to sit on the chair in an easy and safe manner and to rise from the seat without difficulty.
