Abstract:
Disclosed is a chair-type massage device capable of performing pleasant pressure point massage (local pressure massage) on a user. The disclosed chair-type massage device (102) is provided with a seat (103) in which the user sits and with a backrest (104) provided on the rear of said seat (103). A back massage mechanism (114) having a massage body (21) which massages an affected area is provided in the backrest (104). Airbags (A-F) for doing pressing massage are provided on the top surface of the seat (103), the sides of the seat (103), and/or the sides of the backrest (104). A control unit is provided which allows coordinated operation of the massage body (21) of the back massage mechanism (114) and inflation of the airbags (A-F).
