Abstract:
The present invention uses a simple structure for a guide mechanism which is for moving a massage mechanism to a treatment area ranging from the gluteal region to the thigh, while also reliably accommodating the massage mechanism at a location spaced apart from a seat surface. This chair-type massaging machine (1) comprises a seat (2), a seat massage-mechanism (6) that treats the gluteal region of a user who is seated on the seat (2), a seat guide-rail (7) that is provided on the inner side of the seat (2) and that guides the seat massage-mechanism (6) in the forward and backward directions, a backrest (3), a back massage-mechanism (8) that treats the back of the user leaning on the backrest (3), and a back guide-rail (9) that is provided on the inner side of the back and that guides the back section massage mechanism (8) in the vertical direction along the back. The seat guide-rail (7) is extended toward the lower rear side on the inner side of the seat (2), so as to be oriented further downward from the back massage-mechanism (8) which is located at the lower end of the back guide-rail (9).
