Abstract:

A chair according to the present invention is provided with: legs (1) which are provided on a floor surface; a leg support column (13) which rises from the legs; a support base (4) which is fixed to an upper end of the leg support column; a seat (2) which is provided above the support base; and a support mechanism (5) which is disposed between the support base and the seat, and which supports the seat such that the seat can be moved in the front-rear direction and the left-right direction. The support mechanism attaches a left-right support part (51) to the support base so as to enable movement in the left-right direction, and attaches a front-rear support part (52) to the left-right support part so as to enable movement in the front-rear direction. The seat is attached to the front-rear support part. Armrest attachment parts are provided to the support base.
