Abstract:
The present invention is characterized by being provided with a leg (1) that is installed upright on a floor surface, a seat (2) that is provided above the leg, and a fore-and-aft support mechanism (4) that is one of support mechanisms interposed between the leg and the seat, wherein: the fore-and-aft support mechanism has a corrugated plate (56) that has chevron-shaped surfaces (57, 58) provided by being extended in a horizontal direction from vertical walls (51) of a seat receiver and bent upward into projecting shapes and that is provided to the seat receiver (50) side which is a support indirectly supported on the legs, and has followers (53, 54) that come into contact with the chevron-shaped surfaces so as to be relatively movable and that are provided to a fore-and-aft support (52) which is a to-be-supported part; and the corrugated plate is associated with the followers so that when the seat is caused to move from a neutral position by the relative movements of the chevron-shaped surfaces and the followers, the movement leading end side inclines downward.
