Abstract:
A chair according to the present invention has a seat 2 having a reference position P at an intermediate position in the front-to-back direction within the range in which the seat 2 can be moved, and includes a return force generating mechanism 4 which generates a return force to move the seat 2 when moved at least in the front-to-back direction from the reference position P back to the reference position P. The return force generating mechanism 4 has an elastic member 40 which increases the return force to move the seat 2 back to the reference position P as the movement from the reference position P increases.
