Abstract:
A chair that makes it possible for the state of the movement of a mobile part to be alternated between allowed and restrained without a seat moving up/down and without a complicated structure that relies on a back. According to the present invention, a seat (5) is provided with a bodyweight-receiving part (50) that changes height as a result of a seat surface being sat on. The change in height is mechanically transmitted to a control mechanism (8X) that controls the movement of a forward/rearward rocking part (3) that is a mobile part. The control mechanism (8X) alternates the state of the movement of the forward/rearward rocking part (3), i.e., the mobile part, between allowed and restrained.
