Abstract:
Provided are a channel assessment method based on a license exempt spectrum and a sending node. The method comprises: a sending node making statistics on channel detection results of the sending node within a pre-set time period, determining the length of a contention window according to the channel detection results, and performing at least one clear channel assessment on a license exempt spectrum according to the length of the contention window. In the present invention, the length of a contention window is determined according to channel detection results within a pre-set time period, namely, being determined according to usage conditions of a channel; therefore, the determined length of the contention window can directly reflect a load of a current network, and thus it can be ensured that the determined length of the contention window is optimal, so as to perform clear channel assessment and data sending using the length of the contention window, thereby ensuring the fairness of channel occupancy.
