Abstract:

A channel detection method for use in a wireless local area network device, comprising: measuring a channel before sending data; on the basis of the correlation between the channel measurement results, the transmission power level, and channel access parameters, determining a clear channel assessment CCA threshold, and on the basis of the CCA threshold, determining whether the channel status is clear. The present method effectively reduces the interference caused by high-power devices whilst improving network utilisation, and ensures the fairness of multiplex transmission. Also disclosed in the present application is a channel detection apparatus.
