Embodiments of the present application disclose a channel establishment method and apparatus, a network device, and a storage medium. The method comprises: a first service controller receiving a first request from a second service controller, the first request being used for requesting to establish a data channel, the first service controller being used for data channel-based service processing, and the second service controller being used for processing call services and interaction with the first service controller; and the first service controller obtaining, on the basis of the first request, first information for establishing a data channel from a media server, and sending first confirmation information to the second service controller, the first confirmation information comprising the first information.
