Abstract:
The embodiments of the invention provide a channel measurement and measurement result reporting method, and a devices utilizing the same. The method comprises: obtaining, by a terminal apparatus, a channel measurement result of a carrier, wherein the carrier can be configured to be a secondary carrier of the terminal apparatus; and transmitting, by the terminal apparatus, during a procedure of switching a serving cell from a source cell to a target cell, the channel measurement result to a target base station corresponding to the target cell. Therefore, the embodiment can enhance user experience of using the terminal during a handover or reconnection procedure of the terminal apparatus in a radio frequency network supporting carrier aggregation.
