Abstract:

The embodiment of the present invention provides a channel measuring method and device , the method comprises: an access point (AP) transmits a channel measurement trigger frame (TF-S) to at least two stations (STAs); wherein the TF-S is used for triggering the at least two STAs to transmit a null data packet (NDP) for uplink channel measurement; the TF-S includes: parameter indicating information of a transmission parameter that each of the STAs uses when transmitting the NDP, the parameter indicating information being used by the STA to determine a transmission parameter and a transmission time; further, the AP receives an NDP transmitted by the at least two STAs according to the transmission parameter corresponding to the STAs at a transmission time corresponding to each of the STAs, and performing channel measurement, wherein there is no inter-frame interval between the NDPs transmitted by any two adjacent STAs in the at least two STAs, thereby shortening the time required for channel measurement and improving the channel measurement efficiency.
