Disclosed in the present invention are a channel preemption system and method. The channel preemption system comprises: a first interphone and a second interphone. The first interphone generates a channel preemption frame in response to a channel preemption command input by a user, and sends the channel preemption frame to the second interphone; the second interphone analyzes the channel preemption frame to obtain a channel preemption type and a to-be-preempted channel identifier; determines whether to allow the channel preemption by a preset rule according to the channel preemption type; if the channel preemption is allowed, terminates sending first service information by the preempted channel corresponding to the to-be-preempted channel identifier; and when the first interphone receives a termination command sent by the second interphone, it is determined that the channel preemption is successful, and the first interphone sends to-be-sent service information through the to-be-preempted channel. According to the invention, the first interphone sends the channel preemption frame to the second interphone, so as to preempt the channel occupied by the second interphone, thereby reducing the mutual interference of service transmission between the interphones, and avoiding the situation that a single interphone or a service occupies the channel for a long time.
