Abstract:
Embodiments of the application disclose a channel quality information transmission method and a device, pertaining to the technical field of communications. The application provides the following technical effects: improving overall system performance gain by reasonable configuration of a quantization step size when quantizing differential channel quality. The method comprises: a terminal determining a channel quality reference of K channel quality values, wherein K is an integer greater than or equal to 2; determining a quantization step size according to the channel quality reference; quantizing the K channel quality values according to the quantization step size; and sending channel quality information to a network device, wherein the channel quality information is used to indicate the channel quality reference and quantization values of the quantized K channel quality values.
