Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application relate to the field of communications, and provide a channel sounding method and apparatus. The method comprises: a station (STA) receives channel sounding frames sent by a plurality of access points (AP); the STA performs channel sounding on the basis of the channel sounding frames to obtain channel state information of each AP; the STA sends a channel measurement report frame, the channel measurement report frame comprising channel state information of a part of the plurality of APs and identifiers of said part of APs and the channel measurement report frame being further used for indicating that said part of APs are selected to participate in coordinated transmission. By indicating, using a channel measurement report frame, APs selected to participate in coordinated transmission, not only channel state information can be fed back, but also signaling overhead are reduced.
