Abstract:
A mobile toy provided with a character input device which enables pleasant input of characters by simple operation with a feeling as if to input ciphers.
The character input device comprises: a touch unit array which is composed of touch units at five places so configured as to each output a one-shot signal; a circuit which generates a code according to the combination of two to five sequential touch operations of different ones of the touch units on the touch unit array; a storage medium containing character data designated with the code generated according to the combination of the touch operations; and a control circuit which when the touch unit array is subjected to a set of the touch operations by a user, reads from the storage medium the character data designated with the code generated according to the touch operations.
