Abstract:

In a method for estimating a battery charge ratio/remaining capacity , it is possible to accurately obtain a convergence value of a battery open circuit voltage in a short time. The method includes a voltage prediction step having: a step for stopping charge or discharge for a predetermined time by using an approximate expression containing exponential function terms of a plurality of times and a plurality of coefficients so as to measure the temporal change of battery voltage during the time and deciding the coefficients according to the obtained relationship between the battery voltage and the time; and a step for obtaining at least one of the coefficients as a temperature function in advance and deciding at least one power coefficient among natural logarithms of the exponential function terms according to a temperature of a predetermined position.
