Abstract:
Provided is a charge control device which controls a charge amount in the case of charging a plurality of vehicles on each of which a rechargeable battery is installed, the charge control device including a schedule generation unit which creates a schedule for charging the rechargeable batteries of the plurality of vehicles and a controller which is configured to start and stop the charging of the vehicles by opening and closing charging paths to the plurality of vehicles according to the schedule created by the schedule generation unit. The schedule generation unit creates the schedule so that a charge amount which is obtained by subtracting a predetermined reserve amount from a target charge amount of each of the vehicles is charged in distribution to the vehicles.
