Abstract:
 Using the present invention, voltage held by a plurality of serially connected capacitor units is controlled in accordance with the environmental temperature while effectively using all of the plurality of capacitors. Provided are a switch element interposed along the charging path to the capacitor units, and a switch control unit for controlling the opening and closing of the switch element. The switch control unit includes: a first voltage-dividing circuit having a pair of resistor elements for dividing and outputting the voltage held by the capacitor units; and a comparative-result-outputting circuit for controlling the opening and closing of the switch element on the basis of the results obtained by comparing a prescribed potential and the potential outputted by the first voltage-dividing circuit. The temperature dependency of the resistance value for each of the resistor elements differs from the other.
