Abstract:
This charger for a portable battery is provided with: a stage (8) on which a portable battery (45) used for an electric vehicle can be placed; and a terminal part (9) that is provided to a position opposed to a position on the side of the stage (8) on which the battery (45) is to be placed in a state where the battery (45) is not placed on the stage (8). The stage (8) is provided with a buffer mechanism (10) for fitting the battery (45) to the terminal (9) by the stage (8) moving together with the battery (45) when the battery (45) is placed on the stage (8) and for suppressing the fitting speed of the battery (45) to the terminal (9) when the battery (45) is placed on the stage (8).
