Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of charging, and discloses a charging circuit, a charging control method and an electronic device, used for performing overvoltage protection on a charging circuit in an electronic device. The charging circuit comprises a first power supply end, a second power supply end, a controller, a first switch, a second switch, a first charging chip and a second charging chip; the second charging chip supports a fast charging protocol; the first power supply end is coupled to the first charging chip by means of the first switch and is coupled to the second charging chip by means of the second switch, and the first power supply end is used for being coupled to a charger; the first charging chip and the second charging chip are further coupled to the second power supply end so as to be coupled to a battery; the first charging chip is coupled to a communication end of the charger; the first charging chip communicates with the charger to determine that the charger supports the fast charging protocol; the controller controls the first switch to be turned off and the second switch to be turned on, and controls the first charging chip to obtain power from the battery; the first charging chip controls the charger to improve a charging voltage so as to fast charge the battery.
