Abstract:
This charging control device comprises: a receiving unit that receives charging information indicating the charging status of electric transportation devices from each charging facility in a certain area and receives power information indicating the available supply power of a power source for supplying power to the area; a power consumption calculation unit that calculates, on the basis of the charging information, the total power consumption used in charging the electric transportation devices in the area; a determination unit that determines, on the basis of the power consumption and the power information, whether or not to perform control; and a control unit that, when it is determined by the determination unit that the control is performed, performs the control for reducing the power consumption used in charging the electric transportation devices in the area.
