Abstract:
The disclosed charging control device controls charging and is mounted on a vehicle (1) that is connected to an external charging device (100) by a charging connector (104), and the charging control device is provided with: a voltage sensor (18) that detects the voltage applied to the charging connector (104); and a control device (30) that predicts the change in voltage applied to the charging connector (104) after a predetermined period of time has elapsed on the basis of the change in voltage detected by the voltage sensor (18) within the predetermined period of time after the charging connector (104) has been connected to the vehicle, and determines that the external charging device has malfunctioned if the amount of divergence between the change in voltage detected by the voltage sensor (18) after the predetermined period of time has elapsed and the predicted change in voltage exceeds a predetermined value.
