Abstract:
This battery system may comprise: a battery pack including a plurality of battery cells; and a battery management system that derives a state of charge (SOC) on the basis of a target state of charge of the battery pack and the temperature of the battery pack, and generates a compensating state of charge that compensates for the state of charge, the compensating state of charge being generated through PID control based on the error voltage between one of the plurality of cell voltages and the open circuit voltage (OCV) corresponding to the target state of charge.
