Title:
CHARGING DEVICE FOR A HIGH-VOLTAGE BATTERY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/126835
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device (1) for charging a high-voltage battery (2), in particular a high-voltage battery (2) of a motor vehicle, from an AC voltage network (3) with an input voltage that is supplied in three phases in particular. The charging device comprises an isolation transformer (7) with at least one intermediate voltage as an output voltage and a rectifier (10) for generating a DC voltage. The rectifier (10) can be controlled by a control device (27) in order to vary the DC voltage within a DC voltage range, said DC voltage being used as the charging voltage.
