Abstract:
A charging and discharging system comprises: a battery device capable of storing electric power generated by a power generation device which generates electric power by using a natural energy; a power output unit for outputting electric power generated by the power generation device and electric power stored by the battery device; and a charging and discharging control unit for controlling the charging and discharging of the battery device. The charging and discharging control unit determines the duration of a first period according to the magnitude of a variation occurring when the generated electric power by the power generation device changes from a first generated electric power to a second generated electric power. In addition, when the generated electric power by the power generation device does not return to a generated electric power within a predetermined range with respect to the first generated electric power before variations, within the first period from a time point when the generated electric power changes from the first generated electric power to the second generated electric power, the charging and discharging control unit controls the charging and discharging of the battery device.
