Abstract:
Provided are a charging method, apparatus, and system, relating to the technical field of communications, said method comprising: a charging triggering apparatus sending to a charging system a service resource creation request, then receiving a service resource creation response sent by the charging system; the service resource creation request is used for applying to the charging system to create a service resource corresponding to a service in a session connection; said session connection is used for providing a data connection service to a user equipment; the service resource is used for managing the quota application and usage information reporting of the service in the session connection; the service resource creation response comprises a first resource identifier; said first resource identifier is used for identifying the service resource corresponding to the service in the session connection created by the charging system. The described technical solution introduces a service resource to facilitate the simplification, to a certain extent, of the manner of charging a service.
