Abstract:
Disclosed is an electronic device comprising: a battery; a memory which stores a charging pattern of the battery and a usage pattern of the battery; and a processor operatively connected to the memory, wherein when a long-term charging condition is satisfied, the processor controls the charging strength of the battery by using a charging start time, a target charging amount, and a charging end time, and the long-term charging condition is satisfied when the charging end time is configured in the electronic device, a charging device is connected to the electronic device, the charging start time is included in a long-term charging time zone, and a user's consent or permission exists. Various other embodiments understood through the specification are also possible.
